I don’t like to think of myself as a superstitious person. Today I started tape number 13. I thought about not having a tape 13 for the film, but that would be being superstitious. For the first time in the project I couldn’t film because the rain was coming so hard at the camera and I had to abandon the platform. This afternoon I came off my bicycle and got a nasty bruise and this evening I fell into a small river and lost my glasses. I spent half an hour down river trying to ‘see’ if I could find them. No luck.
